Beryl Fine “DIRTY GLAMOUR”

Beryl Fine is bringing her photography to the Meds Gallery! Come by for some for some free drinks on Friday, June 4th at 8pm.

In my collection DIRTY GLAMOUR I have taken the female form and allowed these sexual entities to take their own shape, creating a space that embodies a less than archetypal strength and power. Along with the sexually charged imagery of the female embodiment of femininity I also draw from my Divas series of transsexual/ cross dressers. These lovely ladies have transcended the gender barrier re-contextualizing sex and the borders of gender. Rather than weak, innocent and coy I present a modern woman; one that exudes strength, possesses power and demands identity of self. – Beryl Fine
