Anthony P beat the Times in explaining SXSW by a day, and was much funnier than Jon Parles.
And who the fuck are the Black Lines? This pic’s on the Times’ cover..Rock on guys, looks like an un-awesome gig.

Also, in the fallout of WhoreGate last week, I wondered why it’s legal to pay for sex in front of a camera for profit (porn) but illegal to do so privately (prostitution). Slate answers today.Basically, the porn industry is organized and profitable enough to argue their cases before state and federal courts. Reading Slate’s piece, I’m inclined to believe that a Hooker Union could get prostitution legalized.

Great post Ray and you make a very valid point. There is no reason one should be legal and not the other. I find it so funny that Joe (from girls gone wild) doesn’t go to jail for filming underage girls while wasted (not that I’m defending them-but it is regretable how may of the girls try to sue him to take them off the videos, obviously they weren’t in a state of mind to making those kinds of decisions) No seems to have a problem with this and these girls are barely 18. At lease Spits was with a 22 year old adult and at least he didn’t take advantage of her during a drunken vacation “group think” situation. I just hate porn guys more I guess. BUT the fucker goes to jail for a year for tax evasion. So great. I DO think he deserved that as well, anyone who makes buttloads ( haha) of money in that manner better pay up like the rest of us in April. What a piece of shit. Well, my drawn out point is that I don’t disagree with whores anymore than the ladies of porn. How could you?
HOOKERS UNITE!
