		<description>i'm going to comment again, i'm not arguing that single mothers of all kinds and races aren't heroes, but because i don't think it's actually "OK for white teenagers to be pregnant." 

i think the issue with the message from movies like Juno or Knocked up is that teen pregnancy is a "quirky" problem for a white person to have, and what Anthony's point was, were this a movie about non-white pregnant (young) girls, it wouldn't be a comedy at all.

and i don't know if it's suddenly changed now,  i know people aren't "sent to the farm/nunnery" anymore, but when i was born it was definitely not OK to be a knocked up teenager, white or no, which is why part of my family is adopted, one sibling actually through the catholic church.  (no, i'm not christian).</description>
