Everyone knows about Southie, the Boston white ghetto made famous by Good Will Hunting and The Departed. But did you there was a place called East Boston, another white ghetto, that’s filled with Italians not Irish? Pretty neat huh? And Eastie rules. They had an Italian Fest this weekend and these two women, Gabby Rizzuto and Christin Skane, were captured by the Boston Globe.

The women may be noteworthy. I went to 2 consecutive amateur fight nights in east boston in ‘05 and ‘06. The dudes are all tony soprano wannabee orange dudes with frosted tips (see Nate YD). Surprisingly, the cash raffle went to two organizers and the dude from Giaccomos.

A rigged cash raffle at a boxing match in East Boston? No way! They would never do such a thing…at least some of the money may have gone to buying clams and shit for that Giac-y’s shellfish pasta…

They seem to be the female counterparts to The Joy-Zee Shoar’s Guido faction. Seriously gross, but awesome , all at the same time.

You gotta admit this is one of the best pictures a major newspaper has run this year. the girls’ names are Gabby and Christin. One has a Hooters t-shirt on. Both of their lips are alien skin colored. Love it…

I can just hear them talking right now and it’s already annoying me. But yeah you’re right, the photo is brilliant and those girls are perfect for the story. Those lips make me laugh…
